The turtle eggs were found on a family camping trip in central Wisconsin.  These are pictures of the campground and of the hole that the eggs were laid in (minus the eggs).

The next pictures are of the first egg (egg #10) hatching.  Awwww, isn't the baby cute?

As more and more eggs hatched, we moved them to their temporary housing until their yolk sacs were absorbed and they could walk freely.

These are pictures to show how the eggs dented and flaked as they became ready to hatch.

Time to learn to swim in the turtles' first home.  All 8 turtles will start out here until they grow bigger.
